The HFSDV Board of Directors are voted in for a two year term.  HFSDV members are asked to nominate potential Board Members each August.  If you are nominated you will be contacted to See if you are interested in running for the position.  A voting ballot is Sent out to all current HFSDV members for a vote. 

President  Eileen Mercer

Eileen has been involved with HFSDV for many years and is also a member of ALHFAM.  She enjoys hearth & pit cooking along with baking in bake ovens and visiting historic sites and living history museums

Kimberly Costa has been involved in the field of Living History for almost twenty years.  She lives in Central New Jersey and has degrees in both US History and Theatre.

Recording Secretary Hilary Heckman

Membership Secretary Connie Unangst

Connie has been Hearth cooking and constructing historically correct period costumes as a pastime for the past 18 years.  Her new home was built with working hearth (crane and all) so that she and her daughter could play at home when not away at several different sites in the area.

Lisa is a Librarian, history buff and avid cook who considered a working fireplace a "must" when she was house hunting. Her membership in HFSDV began in 1995, when her husband gave it to her as a Christmas gift. She has previously served on the Board as Membership Secretary (2000-02) and Recording Secretary (2005-07).
